Bihar players get training in MP

During the conversation, Sarangi took special information from Ravindran Shankaran about the implementation and operation of Bihar’s ambitious sports talent search project Mashal and being impressed by this scheme, he gave necessary instructions to his officials to implement the Mashal scheme in Madhya Pradesh also. A team of officials from Madhya Pradesh will soon visit Bihar to get information about the implementation and successful operation of Mashal.
Preparation of water sports academy in Bihar
Before this, Shreyasi Singh also visited the canoeing, kayaking and rowing academies of water sports of Bhopal to study the possibilities and necessary elements for the development of water sports in Bihar. Indian Canoeing and Kayaking Federation President Prashant Kushwaha gave a warm welcome to Shreyasi Singh and the delegation accompanying him and assured of every possible effort and cooperation from the Federation in the development of water sports in Bihar.
Kushwaha agreed to send a Canadian Olympian and international expert on water sports next week to survey suitable places to open a water sports academy in Bihar. The Federation also agreed to provide training facilities to the water sports trainers of Bihar by its world class trainers.
The Federation will have full support in setting up an academy for water sports in Bihar, from construction of jetties to purchase and supply of necessary equipment related to this sport. From the construction of the Water Sports Academy in Bihar, the Indian Canoe and Kayaking Federation will take full responsibility of its operation and training for the first two years so that Bihar can move forward at the national and international level in this sports discipline.
