According to the calendar, Mokshada Ekadashi tithi will start at 09:29 pm on Sunday, November 30 and will end at 07:01 pm on December 1. In such a situation, the fast of Mokshada Ekadashi will be observed on Monday, 1 December 2025.
- Bhadra time – On December 1, from 8:20 am to 7:01 pm.
- Shadow of Panchak – Panchak started on 27th November and will end on 1st December at 11:18 pm.

Rules of Mokshada Ekadashi Tulsi
According to religious belief, water should not be offered to Tulsi on Ekadashi. It is said that on this day Tulsi Mata observes a waterless fast for Lord Vishnu and in such a situation, offering water to her can break the fast. Therefore, even by mistake, do not offer water to Tulsi on Ekadashi.
It is very auspicious to include Tulsi group in the offering to Lord Vishnu on the day of Ekadashi, because Tulsi is very dear to him. But basil leaves should not be plucked on the day of Ekadashi. You should pluck basil leaves a day before and keep them.
There is a religious belief that one should not touch Tulsi after sunset nor should one pluck its leaves in the evening. It is said that doing so is inauspicious and can have a negative impact on the positive energy of the house.
On the day of Mokshada Ekadashi, a lamp must be lit near Tulsi. Also, after lighting the lamp, revolve around the plant 7 times. Doing this is auspicious and the person gets the desired results from it.

What is prohibited on Ekadashi?
