Recently, Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed organized a big rally in Dadyal (PoK), in which Hamas terrorists were openly praised from the stage. According to intelligence inputs, not only was Hamas honored in this program, but Jaish terrorist commanders also talked about adopting the strategy of attacks like Hamas.
The stage of this rally was taken over by Jaish’s top commander Ilyas Kashmiri. Many local and senior terrorist leaders of Jaish were also present around him. Provocative speeches were given from the stage and songs were also sung in support of Palestine.
What was said in the speeches given from the stage?
A speech was also given from the stage in the rally in which the terrorist operations of Hamas were termed as a model. The youth were inspired by Hamas and called upon to fight the ongoing war. Not only this, in the speech the old strategy of Jaish-e-Mohammed was changed and emphasis was laid on Hamas style attacks. According to intel agencies, these statements could be an indication of Jaish’s new strategy in the coming months.
Song sung from the stage: I am Palestine, this is my crime
A song was also sung during the rally. The lyrics of the song are, I am Palestine, this is my crime. The purpose of this song is said to be to create a feeling of struggle in the crowd. Intel report says that Jaish is trying to connect the youth with itself by spreading this narrative.
Intel report: Hamas-style training being given to Jaish
The biggest revelation has come to light in Intel inputs. According to them, Jaish trainees are being trained in tunnels, small group attacks and drone-based attacks like Hamas. New training modules have been added at many launching points. The trainers are being made to study the techniques and guerrilla tactics used by Hamas. Agencies believe that this stance of Jaish can create new security threats on the border.
Why is it a matter of concern for India?
Dadyal (PoK) has been the hub of Jaish’s activities for a long time, but attempts to adopt the Hamas model, openly gathering crowds and holding rallies, open speeches by terrorist leaders, all these have increased the concern of the security agencies. Intel sources say that this rally seems to be a part of Jaish’s preparation for the next terrorist attack.
