The nuclear sites which were targeted by America in air strikes during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel in June, are now seeing activity once again at the same places. New satellite photos have increased the concern of the international community.
According to these pictures, Iran is seen resuming work on an important uranium enrichment plant located in its Natanz nuclear complex. America-based think tank Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) says that this activity raises new questions about Iran’s nuclear intentions.
Movement seen again in Natanz nuclear center
Satellite images taken by ISIS on December 13 clearly show recent activity at the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP) of the Natanz Nuclear Complex. This is the same plant which was heavily damaged in American and Israeli air strikes in June.
Activity has been spotted at the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP) at the Natanz Nuclear Complex. Satellite imagery from December 13, 2025, shows that Iran placed panels on top of the remaining anti-drone structure, providing cover for the destroyed facility, although a large pic.twitter.com/2iJ0cuHLly

It is seen in the pictures that Iran has installed new panels on the anti-drone structure present there. This covers the damaged area, so that what is happening inside is not visible from outside.
What is hidden under the debris?
ISIS believes that these new covers allow Iran to go inside the wreckage to investigate or extract sensitive material, and that too away from the world’s eyes. The think tank has said that this indicates that Iran wants to explore the debris, but without any external monitoring. Although the big hole created by the drone attack has not been completely closed, but enough has been done to hide Andak’s activity.
Why is PFEP plant important?
The Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant is considered a very important part of Iran’s nuclear program. Research has been done here on advanced centrifuges and high level uranium enrichment. According to ISIS, before the attack, a few kilos of highly enriched uranium was present at this site, which may be small in quantity, but is very important strategically.
Silence on remaining nuclear sites
ISIS has also clarified that at present no such activity has been seen at other nuclear bases like Fordow and Isfahan. Both these places were also targets in the June war. Experts believe that the focus on PFEP may be a sign that Iran wants to reactivate the research and development sector first. Experts believe that this movement seen in Natanz will further increase international pressure in the coming days. Satellite monitoring will be intensified and answers will be sought from Iran at the diplomatic level.
