IND vs SA: Umpire injured, cameraman also injured, two players caused accidents in Ahmedabad T20

In the fifth and last T20 match played between India and South Africa in Ahmedabad, the bowlers were badly beaten. The batsmen of both the teams hit a lot of sixes and fours in this match and entertained the audience a lot. But while the players and supporters of both the teams were cheering every shot and boundary, for some people these shots proved to be dangerous. Two such shots targeted an umpire and a cameraman, which scared everyone for some time.

Umpire injured by Samson’s shot

Both these incidents happened during Team India’s batting. The Indian team was batting first and from the very beginning its batsmen adopted an attacking style and started hitting shots with full force. one of these shots sanju samson Came off the bat of. In the 9th over of the Indian innings, Samson hit a sharp shot back on the ball of spinner Donovan Ferreira. Ferreira could not stop the ball and after hitting his hand, it hit the right knee of umpire Rohan Pandit directly. The umpire fell there on the field and started screaming in pain.

Seeing this condition of the umpire, the physio of the South Africa team immediately reached the field and started examining the umpire’s knee. After some time, the physio of the Indian team also checked the condition of the umpire. Due to this the match was stopped for some time. Looking at the condition of Rohan Pandit, it seemed that he might not be able to continue umpiring in the match but the matter of relief was that his injury was not very serious and after applying ‘magic spray’, he stood up again and started umpiring.

Hardik injured the cameraman

Everyone had just recovered from this incident when within some time Hardik gave a strong attack. Hardik, who came to bat in the 13th over, hit a sharp shot on the very first ball and the ball went straight outside the long off boundary for 6 runs. But before the ball could cross the boundary, it hit the left hand of the cameraman standing there hard. Once again everyone got scared.

However, the cameraman showed courage and did not let any kind of pain show on his face. But the medical staff of the Indian team gave him some relief by applying ice packs. After the end of the Indian innings, Hardik also met the cameraman and hugged him and in a way apologized for his shot.
