Poco HyperOS 3 Update: There is big news for the users of Poco company’s phones. Recently the company has launched the latest flagship Poco F8 Series, with the launch of this new series the company has also unveiled the release schedule of HyperOS 3. This operating system (OS) based on Android 16 was launched in September and is currently available for Xiaomi 17 series, but now those running Poco phones are also going to get this new update. According to the company, the update will be released first for the models coming in Poco X7 Series and Poco F7 Series. After this, next year an update will be released for the models coming in Poco’s M series and Poco’s C series. Poco has revealed the release timeline of HyperOS 3 in the global market during the launch of Poco F8 series.
- October-November: POCO F8 Pro, POCO F8 Ultra, POCO F7 Ultra, POCO F7, POCO F7 Pro, POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition, POCO X7 Pro, POCO X7 will get the update.
- November-December: POCO F6, POCO F6 Pro, POCO M7, POCO X6 Pro, POCO M6, POCO M6 Pro, POCO C75 will get the update.
- December-March 2026: The update will be rolled out for POCO F5, POCO F5 Pro, POCO M7 Pro 5G, POCO X6, POCO C85, POCO Pad X1, POCO Pad and POCO Pad M1.
HyperOS 3 Features
HyperOS 3 includes a new feature called HyperIsland, which looks similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. It appears in pill shape at the top of the screen which acts as an alert. The OS based on Android 16 also has many new AI features, AI writing tools, such as smart screen recognition and DeepThink mode have also been added. At the same time, about the AI speech recognition feature, it has been claimed that it improves audio recording quality, provides real-time transcription and creates summary from audio files.
