After this, the US State Department announced that it will no longer issue visas to travelers with Afghan passports due to public security. He is stopping issuing visas to Afghan citizens. Along with this, this announcement came on Friday, when US immigration officials also said that they are temporarily stopping deciding on all asylum applications for the future.
Afghan citizen Rahmanullah Lakanwal has been found a suspect in the attack near the White House. Rubio said, for America there is no higher priority than the security of its nation and its people. The CIA confirmed that Lakanwal had worked for the spy agency in Afghanistan before coming to the US and had come to the US soon after Western powers pulled out of the country in 2021.
China also condemned the attack
On one hand, America has taken action on Afghanistan after the attack near the White House. On the other hand, the situation on the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan also became tense when recently a drone attack took place from Afghan soil in the southern Khatlon province of Tajikistan. Three Chinese laborers died in this attack. Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry said that the attack took place on Shahin SM Gold Mine Company, where Chinese employees were working.

The Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan strongly condemned this attack. The embassy also warned Chinese citizens living in Tajikistan to remain vigilant, monitor the regional security situation and avoid traveling or working near the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border. Also, the Chinese citizens currently present in the area have been asked to leave from there as soon as possible. The embassy described it as a serious criminal act and expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased. The Chinese Embassy asked Tajik authorities to investigate the matter.
