Now people in Delhi will also be able to enjoy ‘hot air balloon’ ride. Delhi government is going to start it from 29th November. With this, people will be able to easily visit Delhi by going to the skies. This experience is going to be very special. This will not be just for special people, the common man will also be able to enjoy this ride. People for this ride will have to pay Rs 3 thousand per ride. Government tax will also be levied separately on this.
To check the safety of the hot air balloon, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena first rode it. He took the city’s first hot air balloon ride at Bansera on the Yamuna banks with DDA officials on Tuesday. During this, the Lieutenant Governor also talked to the people of the concerned balloon related authority regarding this entire process. Also, orders have been given to take special care of the safety of the people.
One trip will last 7 to 12 minutes
The Lieutenant Governor spoke to the media after taking a hot air balloon ride. He said that it will be started from November 29. Its first ride will start for the general public on November 29 at 3.30 pm in Bansera. He said that the ticket price for children and adults will be the same. There is no change of any kind in it. It is being told that hot air balloon ride can be enjoyed for four hours every day. DDA said that its time can be extended as per the need. DDA says that each ‘hot air balloon’ will be able to seat four people simultaneously. Its one trip will last for 7 to 12 minutes.
Keeping the promise made to the people of Delhi
Actually, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) had started its experimental testing in Bansera from Tuesday itself. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that he had promised the people of Delhi that we will keep bringing new things for entertainment. Recently many parks and recreational sites have also been developed. Now ‘hot air balloon’ is added to it. In future too, similar things will be brought for entertainment.
What is hot air balloon?
The hot air balloon comes with a basket attached. In which people can sit and roam around. Balloon works on the principle of hot air rising up. It has a burner which heats the air inside the balloon. As the air heats up, it becomes lighter than the cold air outside and lifts the balloon. It remains safe to a great extent. But sometimes due to technical problems one becomes victim of an accident.
