What are the ingredients?
To make Raab, you will need two and a half cups of buttermilk, one third cup of millet flour i.e. one and a half tablespoon, apart from this you will need salt as per taste, cumin powder, one onion, half teaspoon red chilli powder, chopped coriander and for crunch you can take homemade or market khakhra. Millet Raab Recipe
- First of all, wash the onion and chop it finely and after cleaning the coriander thoroughly, separate the leaves and then chop it finely.
- Mix millet flour with buttermilk in a heavy bottom bowl and make sure that no lumps are formed in it. If needed, you can add a little more flour.
- Now put the mixture of buttermilk and millet flour on the gas and cook well on low flame till it thickens. Keep stirring it so that it does not stick to the bottom.
- Remove the prepared raab from the flame and add salt, roasted cumin powder and also break the khakhra and add it to it.
- Garnish the Raab with green coriander and serve it hot immediately. Keep in mind that when you are serving Raab, it is better to break the Khakra and mix it immediately, otherwise it does not get the proper crunch.
