
There was a huge uproar during the discussion on Vande Mataram in the Haryana Assembly. During the discussion on Friday, along with Congress MLAs, opposition leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda also attacked the government. On the other hand, from the government side, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini retaliated and also gave a befitting reply. CM has said that this is not just a discussion on Vande Mataram, it is the soul of our nation.
Taking part in the chara, opposition leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that Vande Mataram should not be made controversial. Our ancestors have sacrificed for this. There can be no change in Vande Mataram now. This is our mother, and for a mother all her sons are equal, no one is opposing Vande Mataram.
Congress’s allegation- CM is reading written things
Congress alleged that the CM was reading what was written. On this the CM said that these are not written things, this is history. Whatever I am saying is based on facts. Nehru ji has written that some lines of Vande Mataram can offend Muslims. The ruling party MLAs started raising slogans of Vande Mataram ki Jai.
When CM Naib Saini said that many programs are being organized in Haryana on the completion of 150 years. When the then Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru was seen shaking his chair. On hearing the name of Nehru, Congress again started creating ruckus. After this, marshals were called in the House and the named Congress MLAs were asked to be taken out. The uproar has increased so much that Congress MLAs reached the well.
CM said- Vande Mataram gave strength to the freedom movement
Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that today it is a matter of great pride that this great House is discussing Vande Mataram on the completion of 150 years. I would like to congratulate all the members of this House who participated in this discussion, including many leaders of the opposition. Vande Mataram is a mantra whose chanting infused a new energy and inspiration into the country’s freedom movement.
It is a matter of pride for us that we are witnessing the 150th year of Vande Mataram. This is not just a discussion, this is the soul of our nation, this is our cultural consciousness. Our members participated in this discussion in their own ways. This mantra has worked to break the chains of slavery in India. It is a matter of good fortune for all of us to remember this Vande Mataram.
Hooda said- Even my grandfather had said Vande Mataram.
CM Saini said that our blood starts boiling after listening to the song Vande Mataram. We have seen that many people of our country even went to the gallows after chanting Vande Mataram. This is a matter of pride for us. On this, former CM Hooda said that even my grandfather had said Vande Mataram. Saying this, Hooda got angry. My father was a member of the Constituent Assembly, he will tell us Vande Mataram. There were several heated arguments between Haryana’s Energy and Transport Minister Vij and former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda.
