Ingredients for making batter
To make this indigenous solution, you will need some cow dung, two-three pieces of jaggery, curd (which has turned sour), water as per requirement and at least a handful of neem leaves. Now know the method of making the solution.
Make this desi solution like this
First of all grind the neem leaves thoroughly. After this, add pieces of jaggery and crush them and then add curd and also add cow dung. After this, add so much water in it that a thick solution is prepared. You have to take cow dung, curd and neem in equal quantity and jaggery in half. For example, if there is a bowl of curd then half of it will be jaggery.
Use this solution like this
You can pour this solution in the roots of chilli plants at an interval of 15 to 20 days. Before this, the soil should be hoeed i.e. dig the soil lightly so that this solution gets absorbed well in the soil. If you want, make this solution and keep it in an airtight container for a day or two and then use it, so that it will ferment well.
How will the plant benefit from the solution?
Cow dung has been used as fertilizer since ancient times and if jaggery is added, it helps in fermenting well, which increases the quality of anything. Apart from this, things like lactic acid, protein, calcium present in curd work to improve the quality of soil and Neem works to protect plants from insects. In this way, you can prepare good fertilizer for chemical free gardening in simple steps.
