Panic on social media

Many users raised questions on social media as to why every big tech company – Google, AWS, Cloudflare – is going down again and again this month. Some people said that the meeting opened for them, but the rest of the team could not log in. One user wrote – First Cloudflare, then AWS now GCP wants a turn too. This increased the fear among users that there might be a big problem with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Recent outages on Cloudflare, AWS, ChatGPT raise concerns

Last week, Cloudflare experienced a massive outage, bringing hundreds of websites and services to a standstill across the world. DownDetector had registered more than 550 complaints at that time. Platforms like X, ChatGPT and League of Legends were also affected. Cloudflare later said that this problem was caused by a latent software flaw in their network. Maintenance was also going on in many of the company’s global data centers on the same day, which further increased the problem.
