
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave a big gift on the auspicious occasion of International Geeta Mahotsav and Geeta Jayanti on Monday. He inaugurated the first new Geeta Bhawan with state-of-the-art facilities in the government sector in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that such Geeta Bhavans will also be built at all the Municipal Corporations, Municipalities and Nagar Panchayat levels of the state.
He said that the newly inaugurated Geeta Bhavan of Indore is a unique confluence of tradition and modernity. With the aim of encouraging religious and cultural studies and various aspects related to it, the state government has developed the historical Gopal Mandir complex as a modern Geeta Bhawan and dedicated it to the state under the Geeta Bhawan project. Under this scheme, various modern facilities developed by Smart City in this new Geeta Bhawan have been made available to the citizens.
Glorious heritage of Malwa
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the glorious heritage of Malwa, Krishna devotion and the message of Geeta decide the direction of Madhya Pradesh. He said that Malwa region is not untouched by Krishna’s pastimes. Lord Krishna received education in Ujjain of Malwa. He said that Ahilya Bai Holkar of Malwa renovated many religious places in the country and protected the cultural heritage.
He said that Geeta gives self-confidence in struggle and guidance in life. Geeta Each chapter is full of knowledge, science, philosophy, yoga and sense of duty. He said that along with cash, e-rickshaws, e-bikes, laptops etc. are being provided to the winners.

During the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also released Shri Krishna Charit Manas written by Rameshwar Lakhanlal Patidar and Amritsya Avantika written by Raghavdas Panditdas, published by Veer Bharat Trust under the Culture Department of the State Government. He also announced a grant of Rs 5 lakh to Rameshwar Lakhanlal Patidar, the author of Shri Krishna Charit Manas. After the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also watched the dance drama based on Krishna Leelas directed by Sanjeev Malviya.

Worship in Gopal Temple

Under Indore Smart City Project, a new Geeta Bhawan has been built in Gopal Mandir located in Rajwada. The specialty of this Geeta Bhawan is that a beautiful 550-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art facilities has also been built here for cultural programs, discourses and educational events.

A 50-seater reading hall with a positive and spiritual environment and a digital library equipped with modern facilities has been established. The library has a rich collection of about 1200 books related to spirituality, philosophy, yoga, meditation, Indian culture, mindfulness and life management. Apart from this, easy access to many e-books, audio-video lectures, online courses and other digital resources has been ensured through the digital archive.
The interior of the library is designed to provide users with a calming, inspiring and concentration-oriented environment through natural colours, spiritual artefacts, indoor plants and soft lighting.

Exhibition halls have been developed in the redeveloped parts of the temple complex, which will provide an inclusive cultural infrastructure for the public while simultaneously promoting art and culture while preserving the religious heritage.
