Hyderabad to Chandigarh flight 6E-6252 was diverted to Jaipur. During this time, passengers remained sitting inside the planes at Jaipur airport. However, now there is less possibility of reduction in fog in Chandigarh at night. Due to this, there is confusion regarding the return of all three flights to Chandigarh.
Flight diverted to Jaipur
After this, another flight going to Chandigarh was diverted to Jaipur. This Indigo flight 6E-6385 was going from Bangalore to Chandigarh. A large number of passengers faced problems due to the diversion of four IndiGo flights at the last moment.
The airline cited operational reasons
A day before this, on Thursday, many flights were cancelled. In fact, Indigo Airlines flight 6E-7742, which was scheduled to depart from Jaipur to Chandigarh at 5.50 am, was delayed for about two and a half hours. After this, the airline completely canceled the flight citing operational reasons. According to sources, this decision was taken due to non-availability of aircraft.
Flights coming to Jaipur canceled
At the same time, Air India flight AI – 1767, arriving from Delhi to Jaipur at 7.10 am, was also canceled at the last moment. Along with this, flight AI – 1834 from Jaipur to Delhi was also canceled on the last movement. According to sources related to Air India, the flight coming from Delhi was not allowed to take off due to operational reasons, while the flight going from Jaipur to Delhi had to be canceled due to shortage of aircraft.
