Why are Baloch women joining?
The woman’s involvement in the attack has once again raised the question that why are Baloch women participating in such dangerous attacks?
According to local human rights activists and analysts, the participation of Baloch women should not be seen as a suicidal move or economic pressure. He explains that these women adopt an extreme form of raising their voice and demanding justice for their missing sisters and brothers. Many families have been complaining about disappearances, enforced disappearances and human rights violations for years. There seems to be a growing feeling within the community that when voices remain unheard, some youth, especially women, decide to take extreme measures.
Wave of attacks in Balochistan in 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, attacks have intensified in many areas of Balochistan. Separatist groups have targeted security forces at many places through IED blasts, ambushes and attacks on check posts. Experts say that these incidents show that despite tight security arrangements, these groups have the ability to attack wherever and whenever they want. In recent days, internet services, transport routes and many cities were closed due to security reasons, but despite this the attacks could not stop.
