
Today Saturday is a very special day for ending the internal conflict going on within the ruling Congress in Karnataka regarding the top post in the government. Following the signal from the high command, both the prominent leaders of the state, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar are going to meet for breakfast today. It is being said that during breakfast, Shivkumar can remind about the promise made in Delhi. It is also speculated that after this meeting Shivkumar will travel to Delhi.
Sources say that Deputy Chief Minister Shivkumar may mention the promise made to CM Siddaramaiah during today’s meeting. People close to him have put pressure on Shiv to remind him of the promise made during the meeting with the Chief Minister at the time of forming the government in May 2023. He can give this message, cooperate as per what was decided in Delhi.
Shivkumar will go to Delhi after the meeting!
It is being said that before the much-awaited meeting with Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar has discussed a lot with people close to him in this regard. It is expected that after this meeting, Shivkumar can leave for Delhi this afternoon. He was going to go to Delhi yesterday itself, but due to a breakfast meeting being scheduled, he had to postpone the trip for a day. However, DK Suresh Kumar, younger brother of Deputy Chief Minister Shivkumar, has already reached Delhi.
Apart from Shivkumar, other ministers have also been invited to the breakfast meeting with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The Chief Minister has called some special cabinet ministers. It is believed that through this he is trying to show unity in Karnataka Congress.
No one else’s entry during the meeting
Sources say that for today’s special meeting, CM Siddaramaiah has instructed his staff that no one should be allowed inside for the breakfast meeting. There will be no entry of others during the meeting of the two leaders. Only some essential staff will be allowed inside.
