Dipu Chandra was murdered on false allegations, Taslima blames Bangladeshi police

December 20, 2025 by Uma Shankar

Taslima Nasreen has targeted Bangladesh on the death of Dipu Chandra on Saturday. This incident took place in Mayman Singh, far away from Dhaka, where violent demonstrations were taking place after the assassination of Sharif Usman Hadi. Now on this matter, Bangladeshi exiled writer Taslima Nasreen shared this entire incident in a post on X. He said that the police may have played a role in the lynching of Dipu Das. Taslima raised the question who will finally bring the culprits of this murder to justice.

Let us tell you that she has been living in exile in India, Western Europe and North America for many years. His Bangladeshi passport was canceled after he received death threats due to his writings that hurt fundamentalists. Later he got Swedish citizenship.

Video viral on social media

Actually, a video is going viral on social media, in which it is seen that the Hindu man Dipu Chandra Das was beaten to death by the mob in Bangladesh. Shortly before his death, he is talking to people who are in police uniform. In this video, Deepu is wearing a blue full sleeve sweatshirt and trousers and he is trying to explain his point.

Prophet Mohammed’s derogatory remarks

Taslima Nasreen said on X that Dipu Chandra Das used to work in a factory located in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. He was a poor labourer. One day, a Muslim colleague, to punish him for some trivial matter, announced to the crowd that Deepu had made derogatory remarks about the Prophet Mohammed. This was enough and people pounced on Deepu and started scratching and beating him. Ultimately the police rescued him and took him into custody – that is, Deepu came under police protection.

Deepu was thrown out of the police station

Deepu narrated the entire incident to the police, saying that he was innocent, that he had not made any comment about the Prophet, and that it was all a conspiracy by his colleague. The police did not chase that colleague. Many people in the police are obsessed with jihad. Did he hand over Dipu to those fundamentalists due to this Jihadi zeal? Or did the Jihadi terrorists push the police and take Deepu out of the police station? They celebrated wildly, beat Deepu, hanged and burnt him.

Who will bring the murderers to justice?

Taslima said that Dipu Chandra Das was the sole breadwinner of his family. His disabled father, mother, wife and child used to survive from his earnings. What will happen to them now? Who will help the relatives? Who will bring these mad killers to justice? Deepu’s family does not even have the money to flee to India to escape the clutches of jihadists. The poor have no one. They have neither a country nor any religion left.
