
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided several places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh as part of its investigation into the Delhi car bomb blast case. This raid was conducted at the locations of many accused and suspects in both the states. During the search, NIA has seized many digital devices and other objectionable material. Searches were conducted at a total of 8 places in Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama and Awantipora districts of Jammu and Kashmir and at one place in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier, on 26 and 27 November, NIA had conducted extensive searches at the premises of main accused Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ghani and Dr. Shaheen Saeed in Faridabad and Al-Falah University campus of Haryana. During these operations, huge amounts of cash, foreign currency, gold and other incriminating materials were seized. The agency said that all aspects are being investigated closely to uncover the conspiracy of the bomb blast. NIA has so far arrested seven main accused in this case.
The search for clues continues
Interrogation of the arrested accused is going on and various clues are being searched in connection with the blast outside the Red Fort on November 10. The investigating agency said that it is continuously cooperating and coordinating with the concerned state police. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is working with different state police forces to track and arrest every member of the terrorist module involved in the bomb attack.
All accused of terrorist attack will be caught
The agency expressed confidence that all the accused involved in the terrorist attack will be caught soon. A major conspiracy is also being fully investigated in the case. Efforts are being made to connect the links on the basis of important clues received from the suspects who have been interrogated so far. The agency says that after interrogating the accused, many details about their gang have come to light. Work is being done on these. Every possible effort is underway to nab the accused.
