
Amit Tata, an important link in the cough syrup syndicate of Uttar Pradesh, has revealed many secrets during police interrogation. Gang leader and drug lord Shubham Jaiswal is in Dubai. He is in touch with the rest of his gang through FaceTime. Along with Shubham, his family and both partners Gaurav Jaiswal and Varun Singh are also hiding in Dubai. Amit Tata has confessed that cough syrup worth crores of rupees was procured with the help of fake firms and it was smuggled and sent to Bangladesh.
In this case, GST evasion was also done on a large scale. The entire syndicate was running through about 100 firms. Shubham Jaiswal’s CA Tushar used to handle all the financial deals himself. Vikas Singh of Azamgarh is also included with him. Amit Tata confessed that after the arrest of gang member Vibhor Rana in Ghaziabad, Shubham absconded from here but is in touch with everyone.

Illegal business done indiscriminately
According to sources, Shubham Jaiswal was involved in illegal business since 2018. All the members associated with Shubham Jaiswal’s racket earned crores of rupees. In the last two years, Shubham made huge investments in shops and property. Bought a luxurious house in Badshah Bagh only two years ago. Two years ago, the dealer from whom Shubham Jaiswal used to come to buy goods, bought the entire shop of the same Prashant Upadhyay. (Radhika Enterprise now New Vriddhi Pharma). Shubham Jaiswal made contacts everywhere with officials, unions and departments, gave cut money and did illegal business indiscriminately.
FIR lodged against 87 people
87 FIRs have been registered in many districts of UP in the cough syrup case. Maximum crackdown has been tightened on 28 firms of Varanasi. Illegal storage was confirmed here. Licenses of 35 firms from many districts of UP have also been cancelled.
