
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, setting an example of social concern, harmony and simplicity, performed the marriage ceremony of his younger son in a mass wedding ceremony held in Ujjain. Yoga guru Swami Ramdev conducted the mass marriage ceremony of 21 couples. Swami Ramdev said that this is not a ‘destination’ but a ‘divine marriage’. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is the first Chief Minister who has set such an example.
He said that this is an exemplary initiative for influential, political and wealthy people of the country. Marriage By following this process, wastage in weddings can be prevented and middle and lower-middle class families will be inspired. This sentiment of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is in line with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”.

Governor congratulated the new couples
On this occasion, Governor Mangubhai Patel congratulated all the newlyweds. The Governor said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has presented an excellent example of social harmony. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the guests who arrived at the mass wedding venue in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that marriage programs are being organized in the state as per Sanatan tradition. Newlywed couples from all sections of the society participate in the mass wedding ceremony. Brides and grooms belonging to Scheduled Caste and Tribe category are also included.
Pandit Dhirendra Shastri Maharaj, who attended the mass marriage ceremony, said that such mass and low-cost marriage ceremonies should be encouraged. Every section of the society should accept this type of system and move ahead. In the present times the country needs to think innovatively. Pandit Shastri said that the message of Srimad Bhagvad Geeta is coming alive through this marriage ceremony. A scene of social harmony beyond discrimination was visible in the mass marriage ceremony.

Newlyweds seek blessings of saints
In the mass marriage program, President and Mahant of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad Mansa Devi Trust Haridwar Shri Ravindra Puri Maharaj and Chief Patron of Juna Akhara and General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad Pujya Swami Hari Giri Maharaj announced an amount of Rs 1 lakh each to all the newlywed couples.
All the new couples including Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s son Dr. Abhimanyu and daughter-in-law Dr. Ishita received the blessings of the saints. In accordance with the spirit of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the food arrangements were in accordance with the spirit of the mass wedding ceremony. The organizers of the Mass Marriage Conference Committee warmly welcomed all the guests. Local police, administration and social workers cooperated in conducting the program systematically.

In the program, Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Union Communications and North-Eastern Region Development Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Durgadas Uike, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, other ministers, MLAs and a large number of local public representatives blessed the bride and groom and wished them a happy married life.
