Airtel Annual Recharge Plans: Mobile recharges are going to become expensive once again in the year 2026. According to reports, telecom companies can increase the prices of their plans by up to 20 percent. In such a situation, Airtel’s two annual plans with validity of 365 days have come as a relief for the users. Premium benefits like unlimited 5G data, calling and AI subscription are available in these plans. The special thing is that after recharging with these plans, you will be free from recharge for 365 days and the increase in price will not affect your pocket.

Airtel’s annual plan of Rs 3599

Airtel’s Rs 3599 plan comes with a validity of 365 days. In this, 2GB high-speed 5G data is available daily and after this there is unlimited internet facility. The plan offers 100 SMS every day along with unlimited calling on local, STD and roaming. Apart from this, free Hello Tune and 12 months Perplexity Pro AI subscription is also available for free, which costs around Rs 17000.

Rs 3999 plan

If you want even more benefits then you can take Airtel’s plan of Rs 3999. Airtel plan of Rs 3999 also has a validity of 365 days, but in this, 2.5GB 5G data is given daily. The facility of unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day continues in this plan. The special thing is that JioHotstar mobile subscription is being given for a whole year. Apart from this, 12 months subscription of free Hello Tune and Perplexity Pro AI is also available.

Why recharge prices may increase in 2026

According to Morgan Stanley report, Indian telecom companies may increase their tariffs by 16 to 20 percent in 2026. Companies want to increase their average earnings per user i.e. ARPU. The last time recharge prices were increased in 2024 and now after two years, preparations are underway for a tariff hike again. This can especially affect the pockets of 5G users.

How expensive can Airtel and Jio plans be?

According to estimates shared on X, Airtel’s 28-day unlimited 5G plan may increase from Rs 319 to Rs 419. Whereas Jio’s Rs 299 1.5GB daily data plan can be priced at Rs 359. Similarly, the 5G plan of Rs 349 can reach up to Rs 429. In such a situation, taking an annual plan now can prove beneficial in the long run.
