Why mobile recharge prices may increase in 2026

According to the report of research firm Morgan Stanley, Indian telecom companies may increase tariffs by 16 to 20 percent in 2026. Its objective is to increase the average earning per user i.e. ARPU. The last time recharges became expensive was in July 2024 and now after two years the prices are set to increase again. In such a situation, buying an annual plan now can be a wise decision for the users.
