BSF strict on infiltration, caught so many thousand Bangladeshis in one year

Now the data of these arrests has also come out, according to which the Eastern Command of BSF has caught 10,263 Bangladeshis last year while trying to cross the India-Bangladesh border illegally.

BSF is continuously increasing border surveillance. Along with this, more soldiers have also been deployed than before. This is the reason why the figures also seem to be continuously increasing. Gold and drugs also seized

BSF, in its annual review, Eastern Command informed about major seizures made on the border last year, which included narcotics worth Rs 376.52 crore, contraband worth Rs 170.57 crore and 51.389 kg gold worth Rs 67.42 crore.
