The Indian Army on Monday conducted a successful long-range precision strike test of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. This test was conducted from the test range located in the Bay of Bengal. This mission was accomplished in a completely coordinated manner with the cooperation of the BrahMos unit of the Southern Command and the tri-service command Andaman and Nicobar Command.
The advanced guidance and control system installed in the missile proved its capability and hit the target very accurately. During the test, the missile successfully met all the parameters of high-speed flight, stability and terminal accuracy.
Complete preparation to carry out war mission
According to the Army, this mission was carried out in war-like conditions, which proves that the BrahMos units of the Indian Army are fully prepared to carry out real war missions at any time. Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command, praised this successful launch.
