
Bihar’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLMO) supremo Upendra Kushwaha has taken a big decision. He has dissolved all the cells and district units of the party including the state unit with immediate effect. This decision was taken in the core committee meeting chaired by RLMO national president Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha.
Let us tell you that after making his son a minister in Nitish cabinet, the party leaders started the process of resigning. In some districts the entire committee has resigned. After the party was in trouble, Upendra Kushwaha called a meeting of the core committee on Sunday. After a meeting that lasted for several hours, Upendra Kushwaha decided to dissolve all the cells and district units of the party including the state unit with immediate effect. It is being told that this step has been taken with the aim of giving new energy and shape to the new structure in the organization.
Formation of 5 member steering committee
Party’s national general secretary and spokesperson Fazal Imam Mallik said that at present a 5-member steering committee has been formed to run the organization smoothly. The responsibility of the committee will range from conducting all the programs and activities of the party to interim organizational management. Madan Chaudhary has been made the coordinator of the committee. Subhash Chandravanshi, Prashant Pankaj, Himanshu Patel and RK Sinha have been named members.
There was an uproar when the son was made a minister.
Rashtriya Lok Morcha had contested 6 seats in the recent elections as an ally of NDA and was successful in winning 4 seats. Upendra Kushwaha’s wife Snehlata has reached the Assembly after winning the elections from Sasaram seat and her son Deepak Prakash has been made Panchayati Raj Minister. On this issue, many senior party leaders resigned from the party. In many districts the entire committee had resigned.
