Shilpa Shinde said, “See, as an actor, I had also said at the time when the controversy was going on, very clearly that Shubhangi has done a good job, she is a good actress, but comedy is not everyone’s cup of tea. It is not easy to step into a role which has been developed by someone else. And then to copy someone, that is very difficult, there is a lot of pressure.”

Shilpa also told that if Shubhangi Atre had played a character which she had been playing since the beginning, she would have got more popularity. He said, “Look today, no matter how much I think of copying an actress, she gets copied. No matter how well I act.”

At the same time, in an old interview, Shubhangi Atre had told that she wants to end this game of replacement. She had said, “I just want to say that I am now ending this game of replacement.
