But, now producer Deepak Mukut has revealed that Apne 2 will be made even without Dharmendra and he would like to pay tribute to Dharmendra through this.
Deepak Mukut has also revealed that Dharmendra After the death of the film, the story is being changed. The story of the film is being rewritten. Earlier Dharmendra was going to be seen in an important role in it and the story was of that kind, but now it is being changed. Along with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Sunny’s son Karan Deol will also be seen in it.
Story changed because of Dharmendra
Apne 2 producer Deepak Mukut told in an interview to a news website that when he narrated the story of Apne 2 to Dharmendra a few months ago, the actor was very excited for it. His wish was to work with his sons again and especially with his grandson Karan. In this, Karan will be seen as the son of his father Sunny Deol’s character.

Deepak said, “Dharam ji was very excited about the sequel. One of his wishes was to make Apna 2 with his children. Now we are reworking the script, which is being written keeping in mind the characters of Sunny and Bobby. Since Dharam ji is no longer in this world, there will definitely be some changes in it and we will miss him a lot. We are working on including Dharam ji’s character in it in some way or the other.”
Will pay tribute to Dharmendra
Deepak Mukut told that he will dedicate his 2 to Dharmendra and pay tribute to the actor. He further said, “If I can’t make a film with Dharam ji, then I can pay my tribute to him through this. Apne 2 will definitely be made and it will be a tribute to Dharam ji.”
