Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan: Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee have worked together in films like ‘Welcome’ and ‘Singh is King’. Both of them last worked in the film ‘Thank You’ 14 years ago. Now such news has come out that both will once again work together on a project. This film is a special reunion for the actor-director duo. According to a report in Filmfare, Vidya Balan is going to be seen with Akshay Kumar in this upcoming film which is going to be made under the direction of Bollywood superstar Anees Bazmee. No title of this project has been decided yet, but it is confirmed that Vidya Balan has been cast for the film.
Akshay and Vidya’s chemistry was liked by the audience in films like Hey Baby (2007), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Mission Mangal (2019). They have good relations off-screen too, due to which this project is going to be very special for everyone.
A film, The Female Lead
This new film is expected to have two lead female characters, in which Vidya Balan Playing a lead role. Details about the other female role and the story have not been revealed yet, but the report quoted a source as saying that it will have a balance of humor, emotion and a strong character arc, elements for which both Bazmee and Akshay are known.

Will work together after 6 years
This project is also the first on-screen collaboration of Akshay and Vidya after 6 years after their successful work in ‘Mission Mangal’. Since the tremendous success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, their pairing has been quite popular among the audience. At the same time, Akshay Kumar is also busy these days with his upcoming films ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, ‘Haivaan’ and ‘Bhoot Bangla’. Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s ‘Mission Mangal’ was released in the year 2019. Akshay and Anees’s film ‘Thankyou’ was released in the year 2011.
