Tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan escalated on Tuesday (November 25) when the Taliban alleged that Pakistani forces carried out airstrikes in the eastern part of Afghanistan, killing nine children and a woman and injuring four others.
Along with this, trade between the two countries has also stopped. Afghanistan has asked its people to work on alternative trade routes instead of Pakistan. However, the reason for tension between the two countries is TTP. Where Pakistan says that Afghanistan is giving shelter to TTP. At the same time, the Taliban administration of Afghanistan denies the presence of TTP terrorists and says that they do not allow Afghan soil to be used against any other country.
America
Afghanistan has also come on America’s radar at this time. Actually, firing took place near the White House on Wednesday. A National Guard has died in this firing. At the same time, the condition of one remains critical. After this firing, the attacker has been identified as 29-year-old Afghan Rahmanullah Lakanwal.
After this incident, Afghanistan has come on Trump’s radar. President Donald Trump announced to stop the entry of Afghans into America. Trump termed this attack as a terrorist incident and said that all the people involved in this incident will have to pay a heavy price.
Rahmanullah Lakanwal came to America from Afghanistan in August 2021. He applied for refugee status in 2024 and was approved this year. According to the information, Lakanwal was earlier posted as a soldier in 01 Unit in the former Republic of Afghanistan. This unit was established by the American Intelligence Agencies (CIA).
After this attack, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said late on Wednesday night that it has stopped the application process of Afghan citizens indefinitely. President Donald Trump called the attack a terrorist act and ordered a review of Afghans who entered the US during Joe Biden’s presidency.
tajikistan
Drones were launched from Afghan territory in Tajikistan late on Wednesday night. In this attack a camp was targeted in Khatlon area. LLC Shohin SM company was targeted. Which is a private gold mine. Three Chinese laborers were killed in this attack.
Actually, this is not the first attack between Tajikistan and Afghanistan. There are disputes between the two countries related to gold mines and rivers.
Earlier on October 25, armed clashes broke out on the Tajik-Afghan border between Tajik border guards and Taliban fighters. The dispute reportedly started over differences over the diversion of water from the Amu Darya river, which forms part of the natural border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan.

Three Chinese citizens were killed in Tajikistan, the attack took place on the Central Asian country’s Afghanistan border. This information was given by the Chinese Embassy in Dushanbe on Friday. Another Chinese citizen was injured in the attack. According to the embassy, the attack took place on Wednesday evening in the south-western Khatlon province of Tajikistan. The embassy appealed to its citizens to vacate the border area. Also, China has requested Tajikistan to investigate this.
