Why do people worship?

Kempamma Devi is worshiped in this temple. According to the local people, when the temple was being constructed, two dogs started living there and used to protect it. After the completion of the temple, those dogs suddenly disappeared. No trace of him could be found. It is said that the goddess appeared in the dream of a villager and asked him to bring the dogs there, but despite much searching they were not found. As a result, the villagers installed idols of dogs there and started worshiping them. Dogs are considered the vehicles of Lord Bhairav. It is believed that by serving him, Baba Bhairav ​​himself protects the person and saves him from all troubles.
