According to experts, the prices of crude oil and natural gas have decreased in the international market. But there is a continuous decline in the value of rupee against the dollar. Due to which the prices of gas cylinders are not coming down. As much as it should be. On the other hand, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders. The last change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders was seen in the month of April. Then the government had increased the prices of domestic gas cylinders by Rs 50. 19 kg gas cylinder becomes cheaper
According to the information received from IOCL, on the first of the month, there has been a decline of Rs 10 in the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in all four metros of the country. The prices of commercial gas cylinders have decreased for the second consecutive month. If we look at the figures, a decline of Rs 10 has been seen in the country’s capital Delhi and Kolkata. After which the prices in both the metros have become Rs 1,580.50 and Rs 1,684 respectively. On the other hand, commercial gas cylinders in Mumbai and Chennai have reduced by Rs 10.5. After which the prices of commercial gas cylinders in both the metros have become Rs 1,531.50 and Rs 1,739.50.
What is the price of domestic gas cylinder?
On the other hand, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders. If we look at the figures, the price of domestic gas cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi is Rs 853. Whereas in Kolkata the price of LPG is seen at Rs 879. Whereas in Mumbai and Chennai too, no change has been seen in the prices of domestic gas cylinders. After which the price of domestic gas cylinder in both the metros is Rs 852.50 and Rs 868.50 respectively.
